Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a new partnership with Air France, allowing passengers to book PIA Europe flights to 21 European destinations on a single ticket. The agreement is aimed at making international travel more convenient by offering seamless connections through Air France’s extensive network across Europe.
As per the new partnership, it would be possible for travelers to book their entire travel with a single ticket for connecting flight rather than two separate tickets, one for Pakistan and second for the connecting flight abroad. This will enhance the convenience of passengers to visit several European cities.
PIA says the deal will provide several advantages, such as one-ticket travel, easier flight connections, access to 21 destinations in Europe and a better travel experience. The airline is convinced that the linkage will make Pakistan more connected to Europe and also be more flexible available for business, tourists, students and overseas Pakistanis.
The partnership aims to ease travel hassles by streamlining the booking process and enhancing transfer protocols between the two airports. Air France will also offer a more efficient service on its connections to Europe.
The announcement follows the privatization of Pakistan International Airlines. After the new investment, PIA has announced plans to increase its international operations by strengthening its fleet.
The airline currently has fewer than 20 operational aircraft, but is seeking to expand to nearly 40 within a few years and hopes to ultimately reach over 60. The growth will enable further international routes and increase flight frequencies for travellers.
This collaboration will make PIA Europe flights more convenient and accessible, enabling Pakistanis to access major European destinations with their packages through a single booking.
