The investigation report on the PIA plane crash will be presented to Prime Minister Imran Khan today (Monday), exactly one month after the tragic incident.
On May 22, Flight PK8303 crashed in Model Colony near Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, killing 97 people and miraculously surviving two.
After the crash, Prime Minister Imran and relevant officials ordered to investigate the cause of plane crash. To investigate the crash air bus experts were called to Karachi.
Earlier, Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan while talking to media said that preliminary investigation of Karachi plane crash would be unveiled on June 22.
During a press conference he stressed that responsible for the plane crash would be held accountable after investigation. He further promise for transparent investigation and act according to it.” The government will make this investigation public as well as all previous investigations into aviation disasters”.
The father of PIA pilot Capt. Sajjad Gul said he had no “belief” in the airline’s investigation over a tragic plane crash incident that have taken 97 lives including his son.
Gul Mohammad Bhatti added he was offended by the fact that the high-ranking PIA was tearing apart the inquiry report itself and suppressing allegations of negligence.
Bhatti said he had confidence, however, in the assurances given by the governor, who said he stood by them.
