PMD Warns of Hot Weather Conditions Across Pakistan Amid Rising Temperatures

PAKISTAN: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country today.

Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature recorded in the country was 49 degrees Celsius in Sibi. Recorded 47 degrees Celsius in Dadu, Jacobabad, Turbat, Mohenjo-daro, 47 degrees Celsius, Sukkur, Nawabshah, Dera Ghazi Khan, 46 degrees Celsius, Multan, and Bahawalpur, 45 degrees Celsius.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Lahore recorded 43 degrees Celsius, Peshawar 42 degrees Celsius, Islamabad 40 degrees Celsius, Karachi and Quetta 37 degrees Celsius, and Gilgit-Baltistan 34 degrees Celsius.
