Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Perform Umrah During Saudi Arabia Visit

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif performed Umrah during his official visit to Saudi Arabia, where he offered prayers at the Holy Kaaba and prayed for Pakistan’s peace, stability, and prosperity.

The Pakistani delegation included the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Information Minister Atta Tarar and others. The delegation visited the Holy Kaaba before performing Umrah and offered special prayers for the development and well-being of the country.

Earlier, upon his arrival in Jeddah, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif received a warm welcome from Prince Saud bin Mishal, the Deputy Governor of Jeddah. It is being organized during the official visit of the Prime Minister to Saudi Arabia in the context of enhancing the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will also have a significant meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman during the visit. The two leaders will talk about more measures to strengthen the historical ties of brotherhood, economic cooperation, and strategic partnership between the two nations.

The meeting will also discuss regional development, investment opportunities, trade cooperation and other topics. For decades, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have had close diplomatic and economic ties and are still cooperating on regional and international issues.

The Saudi Arabia visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is a testament to the close friendship between Islamabad and Riyadh, and it is expected that the visit will further strengthen ties between the two countries in various areas of mutual interest, including the economic, political and strategic sectors.
