Citizens have urged not to disclose their personal details, CNIC numbers, phone numbers and other sensitive data on un-confirmed websites as it may lead to possible online scams and hacking attempts.

Punjab Government Has Not Launched Any Official E-Bike Registration Portal

The Punjab Govt declared that its e-bike scheme will expanded, but there is no official website to register online yet.

The new Punjab Electric Bike Program will distribute approximately 100,000 e-bikes in the next year. The Government has announced a subsidy of Rs70,000 on electric bikes for giving relief to the students.

Students will reportedly able to purchase these electric bikes after Rs14,000 down payment and the balance will paid in an interest-free monthly installment of Rs2,100.

Special Relief for Female Students Under E-Bike Scheme

The Punjab Government has also announced more support for women students in the context of the electric bike scheme. As per the available information, the government will bear the cost of the down payment and registration fee for girl students and they will pay the monthly installments.

The government is also considering expanding the scheme to include government employees in the future.
