Punjab E-Bike Scheme 2026: How to Apply Online, Eligibility, Monthly Installment & Required Documents

The Punjab E-Bike Scheme 2026 has been officially announced, bringing good news for thousands of students across the province. Under the initiative, eligible male students can get an electric bike on interest-free installments by paying a Rs. 15,000 down payment and a monthly installment of around Rs. 2,000. Meanwhile, eligible female students will receive free electric bikes under the scheme.

The Punjab Government has launched the Punjab E-Bike Scheme 2026 for boys in the province. As part of this program, students who qualify will be able to purchase electric bikes at affordable, low-interest rates via installment payments.

The scheme was announced by the Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz during a ceremony in Arifwala where 10 government schools were upgraded to become Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence.

In her speech, the Chief Minister also announced a number of education reforms, such as the formation of Nawaz Sharif Schools of Eminence in all tehsils in Punjab, the modernization of government schools and the establishment of AI laboratories in every tehsil of Punjab.

The installment plan has been created so that it will be affordable for students. In the present payment system the student will be paying:

• Down Payment: Rs. 15,000
• Monthly Installment: Approximately Rs. 2,000
• Financing: Interest-free

Punjab E-Bike Scheme 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old (relaxation up to 35 years in certain categories).
• Must be enrolled as a regular student in a degree college or university.
• The educational institution must be recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
• Must possess a valid Punjab domicile.
• Must have a valid motorcycle driving license or a learner’s driving permit.
• The applicant must not own any registered motor vehicle.
• Only one electric bike will be allotted per family, even if multiple siblings are eligible.

Applications will be accepted only through the official Punjab Government online portal.
