Inspector General (IG) Punjab Police, Dr. Usman Anwar, has revealed plans to provide new homes and employment opportunities to the families of police martyrs prior to 2017. In a recent meeting, IG Punjab highlighted the completion of health screenings for over 150,000 constables and the ongoing vaccination process.
The department is swiftly progressing with departmental promotions and healthcare projects for employees across all districts. Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that eligible officers and officials are receiving their rightful promotions based on merit and seniority without any delays.
To expedite promotions, a promotion board meeting will be held within the next few days to discuss the elevation of 700 telecommunication employees, as well as 350 inspectors, 1,300 sub-inspectors, and 2,100 ASIs.
Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized the use of the Human Resource App (APP HRMIS) to ensure timely management of office affairs, including employee records, ACRs, and holidays. The police force is also striving to adopt paperless practices within its offices.
Addressing the officers from Khanewal, Lodhran, and Vehari at the Central Police Office, Dr. Usman Anwar urged supervisory officers to prioritize spending time with the constabulary and work diligently to resolve their issues. Additionally, he emphasized the collective responsibility of the entire force to safeguard the lives and property of citizens.
During the event, IG Punjab presented rewards to 81 police officers and personnel from Khanewal, Lodhran, and Vehari. Among the recipients were 54 officers and personnel from Lodhran Police, 17 from Khanewal, and 10 from Vehari, who were honored with cash prizes and certificates of appreciation.
Dr. Usman Anwar assured that the process of recognizing and encouraging officers and personnel who demonstrate exceptional performance will continue in the future.
