Routes Closures in Karachi Announced for 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal

Authorities have put strict route closures and a heavy vehicle ban into effect facilitate smooth traffic management during the Eid Milad-un-Nabi holiday.

Karachi traffic police have prohibited the entry of heavy vehicles (including dumpers and tankers) into the city to ensure security during the 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal (Eid Milad-un-Nabi) processions, taking place across the city on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.

In addition, security cordons and road blockages will begin around 12:00 PM along major procession paths.
