According to reliable sources, the maritime vessel “Pier Points” has successfully docked at the KPT, commencing the transfer of Russian crude oil to the Pakistan Refinery. Out of the total 45,124 metric tons, an impressive 60% of the crude oil has already efficiently transferred.

The Russian vessel, stretching 183 meters in length, has been loaded with a whopping 45,124 metric tons of oil. This significant quantity highlights the magnitude of the transaction and the potential impact on the petroleum industry in Pakistan.

The seamless transfer process from the Russian vessel to the Pakistan Refinery’s tanks is currently underway. Once complete, the Pakistan Refinery will initiate the refining process to extract valuable petroleum products from the Russian crude oil.

Industry analysts are optimistic about the long-term implications of this deal. The successful transfer of 45,000 tons of oil has already taken place in Karachi, with the remaining quantity expected to arrive shortly. This substantial influx of Russian crude oil expected to boost the country’s refining capacity and reduce its reliance on imported petroleum products.

The reduction in petroleum product prices, as a result of the arrival of Russian crude oil, poised to alleviate the financial burden on consumers and stimulate economic growth in Pakistan. This development is particularly significant as it can positively impact various sectors, including transportation, manufacturing, and agriculture.
