In a vibrant kickoff to Sindhi Culture Day, also recognized as Sindhi Ajrak and Topi Day, festivities have ignited across the metropolis this Sunday. An annual tradition observed on the first Sunday of December, Sindhi Culture Day aims to showcase the richness of Sindh’s cultural heritage. Diverse programs and lively rallies have been meticulously planned throughout the city for the occasion.
Faryal Talpur, Central President of Pakistan People’s Party Women’s Wing, congratulated the people of Sindh and the nation on this joyous day. She highlighted that the Indus Valley’s culture spans five thousand years, making it one of the world’s oldest and most significant civilizations.
Highlighting the distinctive identity of Sindhi Topi, Ajrak, and the Sindhi language, Talpur underscored that Pakistan boasts an unparalleled cultural heritage. She called upon everyone to contribute to the preservation and promotion of this rich legacy within Pakistan.
