As of October 2023, the Directorate General of Immigration & Passports in Pakistan has announced that the urgent fees for various passport categories remain unchanged. Pakistani citizens seeking expedited passport services will continue to pay the following fees:
- 36-Page Passport: The urgent fee for a 36-page passport remains at Rs6,000.
- 72-Page Passport: For those who require a 72-page passport, the urgent fee remains Rs10,000.
- 100-Page Passport: The urgent fee for a 100-page passport is set at Rs13,000.
These fees apply to individuals who need their passports quickly for travel or other urgent reasons.
To obtain an urgent passport, applicants must visit the relevant passport office or foreign mission with the necessary documentation, including proof of prescribed passport fee payment, an original CNIC/NICOP with a photocopy, and the previous passport (if issued). Government, semi-government, or autonomous body employees may also need a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their concerned department. Dual nationals should bring their foreign passport along with a photocopy. In the case of a lost passport, a Lost Passport Police report mentioning the previous passport number is required.
Please note that these fees are subject to change, and it is advisable to check with the Directorate General of Immigration & Passports or their official website for the most up-to-date information regarding passport fees and requirements. Pakistani citizens are entitled to machine-readable passports for international travel, and these fees are applicable for expedited services.
