Karachi is to encounter another rain spell with windstorms and thunder on 14th September (today), as informed by PMD (Pakistan Meteorological Department).
Karachiites were fed up of the scorching heat for a few days. The rain that started on Monday with a windstorm,Tuesday receiving a downpour is also expected on Wednesday. As per the weather forecast department, low pressure above central India will cause cloudbursts in Sindh and areas of Karachi.
Whereas the weather in Karachi will remain hot throughout the entire day.Till September 15, a few cities like Mirpurkhas, Jamshoro, Umarkot, Thatta, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, Sanghar, and Sujawal will expect rain with a windstorm.
Furthermore, the weather expert stated that dry winds from Afghanistan are lowering the possibilities of precipitation in Balochistan and Sindh. The winds of the monsoon are moving towards Thatta and Badin. As the winds are not blowing at Karachi, it might less receive rainfall.
