A new spell of winter in Karachi in 2020 is expected to start from coming Monday. According to the Meteorological Department, they warned Karachiites to get ready for the cold wave. However, the temperature may reach below 10�C. According to the Met Office, the weather will remain cold and dry during the next 24 hours.
The lowest temperature in Karachi was observed at 10.5�C today. However, winds are blowing from the northeast in Karachi at the speed of 10 to 14 km per hour, while humidity is 34%.
On the other side, the new cold wave in Balochistan is expected from today, due to which northern areas of Balochistan will face cold winds till December 30. According to the weather department, the alert is also issued for snowfall and rain in northern areas of province for Saturday and Sunday.
The Met office revealed that the western winds will enter into the western areas of Pakistan on Saturday morning and will later spread to the central and upper areas on Sunday, causing Ziarat, Zhob, and Quetta to receive snow and rain.
