Grant Bradburn appointed as new head coach of Pakistan men’s cricket team

Grant Bradburn has been appointed as the new head coach of Pakistan’s national men’s cricket team after a thorough selection process. He will be in charge of the coaching staff for the next two years.

Bradburn had previously worked with the team as a consultant during their home series against New Zealand. Under his guidance, Pakistan won the One-Day International Series 4-1 and moved up to the top of the ICC Rankings. The T20 International series was tied 2-2.

The newly appointed head coach of Pakistan’s national men’s cricket team, Grant Bradburn, brings extensive coaching experience to the role. He previously served as the team’s fielding coach from 2018 to 2020 and has also coached Scotland’s men’s side.


According to Najam Sethi, the chairperson of the PCB Management Committee. Bradburn has extensive coaching experience and has previously worked with the team and at the National Cricket Academy, making him well-suited to lead the team. This appointment is part of the PCB’s efforts to create a highly qualified coaching panel to help the team succeed in all three formats of the game.

Pakistan’s cricket team management has revealed its approach for the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Dubbed “The Pakistan Way”, the team will use positive and bold tactics and attacking strategies during the One-Day Internationals in the build-up to the tournament.


In preparation for the event, Pakistan will also participate in a three-match ODI series against Afghanistan and the 50-over ACC Asia Cup. These competitions will provide opportunities to test their potential, experiment with bench strength, and refine the team ahead of the World Cup.
