India Women have advanced to the Women’s Asia Cup 2026 final after beating Bangladesh, leaving Pakistan Women to fight for the remaining spot in the title clash
India Women booked their place in the championship match after a solid 40-run victory against Bangladesh Women at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Batting first, India posted a competitive total of 149/6 in their 20 overs. Star batter Shafali Verma delivered 64 runs off 40 balls and later picked up an economical bowling spell.
In response, Bangladesh managed 109/7 in their 20 overs as Indian bowlers kept tight control over the chase.
The Path Ahead for Pakistan
While India waits in the final, the second semi-final will decide their opponent. Pakistan Women are set to face defending champions Sri Lanka in the crucial playoff match. The winner will advance to meet India in Sunday’s title showdown.
