Muhammad Yousuf, former captain of Pakistan Cricket team, last night on TV opened up the new Pandora box after shocking disclosures.
He mentioned that Misbah ul Haq after the T20 World Cup 2009 had rebelled against the then captain, Younis Khan and also gathered players like Shahid Afridi, Kamran Akmal and Saeed Ajmal to rebel against cricketer Younis Khan.
Yousuf while talking about revolt told that Misbah ul Haq did this because Younis Khan had rebuked him for playing slowly in a World Cup match. But Misbah didnt take it seriously and had an argument with Younis. After the argument things messed up and caused of rebel against him and resulted to step down as a captain.
Cricketer Yousuf said that he has understood that Younis was correct to act strictly with players and he regrets his role in taking down Younis Khan, although Younis was always respected him and was a good friend of his. Legendry batsman Yousuf also regretted to not have of meritocracy in PCBs appointment.
