The much-anticipated National T20 Cup begins today in Karachi, featuring eighteen teams set to clash in matches across four different grounds. Cricket enthusiasts are in for a treat as matches at the National Stadium offer free entry, allowing fans to soak in the thrilling action.
Intense competition set at the National Stadium, UBL Sports Complex, High-Performance Center Oval Ground, and National Bank Sports Complex. PTV Sports and ARY Zip will broadcast all National Stadium matches, and international audiences can watch live streams on YouTube. Two matches daily at the National Stadium start at 3 pm and 8 pm, with tosses at 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm.
Fans at the National Stadium can enjoy matches from exclusive enclosures honoring cricket legends Hanif Muhammad, Javed Miandad, and Fazal Mehmood. The event comprises a total of 63 matches, starting with 32 group matches from November 24 to 28, followed by the Super 8 phase.
Teams like Lahore Whites, Peshawar, Karachi Blues, Larkana, Quetta, and others will vie for supremacy in their respective groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Eight stage, scheduled for a round-robin league from December 1 to 8.
The semi-finals take place on December 9 at the National Stadium at 3 pm and 8 pm. The grand finale is on December 10 at 8 pm, with the winning team receiving Rs.50 lakh, the runners-up Rs.52 lakh, and the player of the tournament Rs.25 lakh. The best batsman, bowler, and wicketkeeper will also awarded the same cash prize.
Individual brilliance will acknowledged in the National T20 Cup. The Player of the Match in the final will awarded Rs.25,000 in recognition of their outstanding performance. The tournament not only promises fierce cricket battles but also substantial rewards for standout performers.
