No more excuses: Miandad challenges India to visit Pakistan for Asia Cup

Former Pakistani cricket captain Javed Miandad has urged India to visit Pakistan for the Asia Cup without worrying about security concerns. Miandad criticized India for not sending its national team to Pakistan and making excuses about security. He pointed out that many other major cricketing nations have recently visited Pakistan without any issues.

Miandad further stated that there should be no concern about security and India should visit its neighboring country, as death will only come when it is destined. He also called on India to return the move, as the last time Pakistan visited India, India has not come to Pakistan since.

According to the former cricketer, this move will not only improve the current tense situation in cricketing relations between the two nations but also other matters as well. Miandad had earlier criticized the Indian cricket authority for refusing to visit Pakistan, saying “India can go to hell if they do not want to come to Pakistan to play cricket.”

Miandad further remarked that the cricket board should not be concerned about India’s participation in the Asia Cup 2023, as other teams are ready to tour for the event. With this statement, the former Pakistani captain has once again opened up the debate on the strained cricketing relations between India and Pakistan.

It remains to be seen if India will respond positively to Miandad’s appeal, given the current political and security situation between the two countries. However, if India agrees to visit Pakistan, it will certainly be a positive step towards improving the relations between the two neighboring countries.
