Pakistan host Sri Lanka in the first T20I at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium today, Friday, October 9, with temporary traffic diversions planned for team movements.
The match begins at 6 p.m. PKT, following the toss at 5:30 p.m. Sahibzada Farhan will lead Pakistan at home for the first time against Kusal Mendis’s Sri Lanka.

Road Diversions and Shuttle Parking
Traffic police will divert vehicles during team arrivals and departures, with travellers advised to allow extra time around Stadium Road and Double Road.
During team movements, traffic from Islamabad towards Rawalpindi will divert from Faizabad towards the Expressway. Islamabad’s advisory also covers sections of Expressway and Srinagar Highway, plus Murree Road and Club Road.
Authorities have announced parking at Rawal Park and Satellite Town College, with shuttle services to the stadium entrance. The food street beside the ground has closed for security.
