With the Pakistan Super League (PSL-9) matches set to kick off in Karachi from February 28 to March 18, stringent security arrangements have been put in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
A comprehensive security plan has been devised, featuring the deployment of 1,000 trained commandos from the Special Security Unit (SSU) who will be stationed at key locations including stadiums, practice grounds, airports, and along designated routes. These commandos will work in coordination with officials from the traffic police, district police, and rangers to maintain a secure environment throughout the duration of the matches.
To facilitate smooth entry and exit for spectators, the China Ground has been designated as the primary parking area, while gates to the stadium will open three hours prior to the start of each match. Additionally, it is mandatory for all attendees to carry their original National Identity Cards for verification purposes upon entry.
These measures aim to uphold the safety and security of everyone involved in the PSL-9 festivities while ensuring an unforgettable sporting experience for fans across Karachi.
