Ben Duckett led England’s innings with 105 off 111 balls. Sam Curran added 42, helping England recover after Pakistan reduced them to 52 for four. Shaheen Shah Afridi took four wickets for 46 runs, while Arafat Minhas and Razaullah claimed two wickets each.
Pakistan’s chase faltered as England’s bowlers kept taking wickets. Saad Baig scored 32 and Salman Ali Agha made 26, but Pakistan slipped to 154 for nine in 33.5 overs while chasing 242.
Shadab and Haris Rauf Complete Record-Breaking Chase
Shadab remained unbeaten on 113 off 96 balls, hitting 13 fours and five sixes. He found a crucial partner in Haris Rauf, who scored seven not out as the pair added an unbroken 89 runs for the final wicket.
