Pakistan’s Salman Ateeque Makes History by Climbing Mount Everest

Islamabad: Pakistani mountaineer Salman Ateeque has made the nation proud by successfully summiting the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, reaching the top at 11:49 AM today.
According to details, Salman Ateeque reached the summit after a challenging climb in extreme weather conditions. Mountain is located in Nepal at an altitude of 8,848 metres, which is one of the most difficult and dangerous mountains in the world.
Salman Ateeque hails from Islamabad and is the 14th Pakistani to reach the top of Mount Everest, yet another historic feat for the mountaineering community in Pakistan.
This is not his first big success on high-altitude climbing. He also conquered a peak in Nepal last year called Maslow Peak, which further proved his prowess as an experienced and determined climber.
