The team green has reached Dubai to participate in the Asia Cup 2022 from Amsterdam that is starting on 27 August. Prior to the visit, Pakistan won the three ODI match series against the Netherland. The Asia Cup 2022 is expected to be played in T20 format.
Pakistan team members including, Usman Qadir, Iftikhar Ahmed, Asif Ali, and Haider Ali will arrive in Dubai from London on 23rd August (today). Muhammad Hasnain has been replaced by Shaheen Afridi who was recently injured. Pakistan cricket team will start training sessions tomorrow in Dubai.
Pakistan will play its first match of the tournament on 28th August against India. The series will start from 27th to 11th September in Sharjah and Dubai. The first face off will between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan. The team including India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka is among the participant in the match.
