In a shocking revelation reminiscent of the Panama Leaks, the Dubai Leaks 2024 has exposed a trove of undisclosed properties in Dubai, a prominent city in the United Arab Emirates. The Dubai Leaks 2024 has unveiled an estimated $400 billion worth of foreign-owned properties in Dubai, with Pakistanis alone holding a staggering $11 billion worth. The leaks have named numerous political figures, government officials, and retired officers from around the globe.
Among the foreign property owners in Dubai, Pakistanis hold a significant position, ranking second. The Dubai leaks discloses that 17,000 Pakistanis have invested in 23,000 properties in Dubai. However, Indians lead the pack, with 29,700 individuals owning 35,000 properties.
The British are not far behind, with 19,500 citizens owning 22,000 properties valued at $10 billion. Saudi citizens, too, have made substantial investments, with 8,500 individuals owning properties worth over $8 billion.
The Dubai leaks list has also revealed the names of several high-profile individuals, including a former Prime Minister, a police chief, an ambassador, and a scientist.
