CJP Founder Abhijit Deepke Alleges BJP Pressured Him to Join, Claims Threatening Messages

Abhijit Deepke, the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has alleged that he was pressured to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and received threatening messages after refusing the offer.

At a press conference, Deepke said that he had been approached to join the BJP. The message implied that if he took the deal, things would be easier for him and his family, he said. If he does not, though, they may have problems.

Deepke said he had decided to call the matter into the public light and insisted the allegations are investigated openly. He emphasized the need for an objective investigation to find the truth.

The founder of the CJP also claimed that his parents were also sent threatening messages. He also made some remarks on issues pertaining to the students’ protests, examination irregularities and some government policies at the press conference.

Deepke expressed his unhappiness with Baba Ramdev’s recent observations, saying that if raising her voice for education and democracy and for students’ rights was a crime, she will keep her voice loud. He also said that Ramdev should mind his own business instead of commenting on others.

These allegations are still claims made by Abhijit Deepke in his press conference as of the time of writing. The BJP has yet to make an official comment on the charges, nor have the authorities replied.

The development has sparked a slew of comments on social media, urging for an independent investigation of the allegations. But as yet there is no official documentation released to substantiate the claims.
