Hajj 2020 Updates
The main ritual of Hajj 2020, Waqoof e Arafat will be performed on Thursday (today). Pilgrims will move to Arafat where they perform this ritual. They will also listen to Hajj 2020 sermon that will be delivered at the Nimra Mosque. In addition, they will perform Asr and Zohar prayers together.
Pilgrims will also spend time in Arafat and will do prayers for their pilgrimage�s acceptance and will do recitation of verses from Quran until sunset.
After the sunset, they will move to Muzdalifah, where they�ll stay until the midnight, engaged in the prayers after offering combined Isha and Maghreb prayers.
The annual ritual to have to change the Ghilaf-e-Kaaba was performed at Masjid al Haram. The 14 meter tall garment is prepared from pure silk fiber. It is also embellished by silver and gold plated thread and also the motifs containing verses from the Holy Quran. It is noted that Kiswa, the covering cloth of the Kaaba, is changed on 9 Zilhaj each year on Arafat day.
