Iran-US Talks to Resume After Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s Funeral

QATAR: Qatar has claimed that positive progress has been made in the indirect negotiations between the United States and Iran currently taking place in Doha.
According to Qatari officials, talks between Iran and the United States will resume after the funeral of Iran’s former Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has expressed a similar position on the matter.
A spokesperson for Pakistan’s Foreign Office said that Iran and the United States have agreed to continue negotiations in the coming days.

Pakistani and Qatari mediators held separate meetings in Doha with American and Iranian negotiators.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, these meetings resulted in positive progress on matters related to the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. The progress builds on the outcomes achieved during the Lake Lucerne Summit.
