US sportswear giant Nike on Saturday unveiled plans to shut down sales in Israel from next year.
The mega brand has announced that it will end the sale of its products in stores within Israel. This move hailed by social media users as another victory of the International Boycott Distribution and Restrictions (BDS) campaign.
Nike has sent a letter regarding this termination of sell. It defined that continuity of the business relationship between the company and Israel is no longer in line with the company’s policy.
It is inform that the new decision would take effect on May 31, 2022.
