Riyadh Air Announces Direct Flights to Islamabad and Lahore

Islamabad: A significant development has taken place in direct air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan on the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day.

According to a private TV channel, Saudi Arabia’s new airline, Riyadh Air, will officially begin its flight operations to Pakistan tomorrow, August 14, on Pakistan’s Independence Day. As part of the operation, Riyadh Air will launch flights to Islamabad on August 14 and to Lahore on August 18.

The airline will operate seven weekly flights to Islamabad and three weekly flights to Lahore.

Riyadh Air will use Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft for its flight operations. According to sources, the arrival of the new airline is expected to create new employment opportunities in the country.
