Saudi Arabia’s authorities have announced updated fees for Iqama renewal, exit and reentry visa extensions, and other services for 2025. These updates, shared by the Ministry of Interior through the Absher Business platform, are crucial for foreign workers, including Pakistanis, residing in the Kingdom.
Saudi Arabia Iqama Renewal Fee: Revised Rates!
The renewal fee for Iqama has been revised to SR51.75. Employers and expatriates must ensure timely payment, as an invalid Iqama could lead to legal issues. Alongside the Saudi Arabia Iqama renewal fee, the extension of exit and reentry visas now costs SR103.5.
Other Updated Fees Include:
- Final exit visa: SR70
- Issuance of Iqama: SR51.75
- Employee report: SR28.75
- Amendments to expatriate passport information: SR69
These fees apply to value-added services provided through Absher Business and are separate from annual employer package costs.
Importance of Saudi Arabia Iqama Renewal
Foreign nationals must renew their Iqama within three days of expiration to avoid fines or complications. The Iqama serves as a residency permit, enabling individuals to live and work in Saudi Arabia legally.
New Features on the Absher Platform
In addition to updating fees, the Absher platform introduced features like a tool to report absconding individuals entering on guest visas. Such tools emphasize the importance of compliance with residency regulations in Saudi Arabia.
Foreign workers are urged to stay updated on changes like the Saudi Arabia Iqama renewal fee and utilize platforms like Absher for a seamless experience.
