Trump Declares Iran Ceasefire Over, Says No More Deals with Tehran

U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that the ceasefire with Iran is over and the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the two countries is no longer in effect. The remarks come as tensions between the United States and Iran remain high over regional security and Iran’s nuclear program.

Trump told reporters in Türkiye that he no longer wants to hold talks with Iran. He also said he is not interested in engaging in another Iran nuclear deal, saying that it would be a waste of time.

Moreover, the U.S. president said that Iran would use nuclear weapons if it had them. Washington is continuing to worry about Iran’s nuclear ambitions and influence in the region, according to his comments.

During the media interaction, Trump announced that he had instructed U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to end all trade with Spain. He said he does not wish the United States to do business with Spain, but did not give any more details about the decision.

Trump also took the opportunity to berate NATO, claiming that it would not defend the United States against Iran. He was “displeased” with NATO’s stance on Iran and Greenland, and said that the U.S. contributes an “unfairly high portion” of the alliance’s costs.

Trump said the U.S. has been mistreated by NATO, which has been getting more for its money than other members. He once again expressed his dissatisfaction with the military alliance and his discontent with the burden sharing.

Trump’s latest statements on the Iran ceasefire, Iran nuclear deal, and NATO are expected to draw international attention as geopolitical tensions continue to shape global diplomacy.
