Summer vacations in Islamabad for schools and colleges have been extended until August 4 due to heatwave and humid conditions. This decision was announced by the Ministry of Federal Education and Training through a recent notification.
Originally, the break, which started on June 10, was set to conclude on July 31. However, due to the severe weather conditions impacting the region, the reopening of educational institutions has been pushed back to Monday, August 5.
This extension aims to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff during the intense summer heat. Parents and students are advised to stay updated with any further announcements from the Ministry regarding school schedules.
