American rapper Macklemore will donate his entire $1 million in net earnings from Ed Sheeran’s Loop Tour to six organizations supporting Palestinians. He has also challenged New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft to match the donation.
Macklemore announced the decision in an Instagram post on Wednesday. He said the money would go to organizations working directly to support the Palestinian people.
The six organizations are:
- Palestine Children’s Relief Fund
- HEAL Palestine
- Gaza Soup Kitchen
- Medical Aid for Palestinians
- UNRWA USA National Committee
- Anera
Macklemore also called on Robert Kraft to donate the same amount. Kraft owns the New England Patriots and the Kraft Group, which operates Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.

In his message, Macklemore said disagreements could remain, but people could still agree on protecting Palestinian lives. He also said humanitarian aid alone cannot address the conditions that create the need for such assistance.
Macklemore Removed from Sheeran Tour
Macklemore was removed from the remaining US dates of Sheeran’s Loop Tour after making pro-Palestinian remarks during his September 4 performance at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. He called for a free Palestine during the performance.
The decision followed objections from venues involved in the upcoming shows. Kraft later confirmed that he had been involved in the decision concerning Macklemore’s performances at Gillette Stadium. He cited what he described as Macklemore’s recent actions and a broader history of antisemitic rhetoric and imagery.
Sheeran later said that removing Macklemore was the promoter’s decision, not his own. The controversy also led the other remaining support acts, including Finneas, Lukas Graham, Aaron Rowe and Beoga, to withdraw from the tour.
