Who Will Deliver the Hajj Khutbah 2026 at Arafat? Big Announcement Expected

The Imam and Khateeb of Masjid al-Nabawi, Sheikh Dr. Ali Al-Hudhaifi, will deliver the Hajj sermon this year at Masjid Nimrah, according to Arab media reports.

Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi will lead the Khutbah-e-Hajj in the annual pilgrimage of Arafat on Tuesday, May 26, or 9 Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH, according to the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques.

Sheikh Al-Hudhaifi is regarded as one of the most renowned reciters of the Quran and Islamic scholars in Saudi Arabia and throughout the Muslim world. He has become known worldwide for his recitations and religious discourses.

The renowned scholar was previously the Imam and Khateeb of Masjid Quba and Masjid al-Haram and then he continued to serve as a Khateeb of Masjid al-Nabawi.

Meanwhile, Dhul Hijjah has officially started in Saudi Arabia, which is the final month of the Islamic calendar. Essential rituals of Hajj will be conducted on May 26 and Eid-al-Adha is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

This year, millions of Muslims are anticipated to make the annual pilgrimage to the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah.
