Bus Overturns Outside Karachi Governor’s House Due to Driver’s Mobile Distraction

In a harrowing incident outside the Governor’s House in Karachi on Thursday, at least seven individuals, including two women, were injured when a high-speed passenger bus overturned. The bus, which was carrying 30 passengers, including students, overturned due to alleged reckless driving by the bus driver.

Eyewitnesses, particularly the students on board, claimed that the driver was not only overspeeding but also distracted by his mobile phone. The resulting accident left seven people injured, two of whom were women. They were swiftly transported to the nearest hospital for immediate medical assistance.

The police authorities reported that the driver managed to flee the scene following the accident. However, the bus involved in the incident has been transported to the police station for further investigation.

In response to the accident, rescue teams swiftly arrived at the scene and successfully retrieved the bodies and the vehicle from the canal. The deceased individuals were subsequently moved to the DHQ Hospital.
