Coronavirus in Sindh: 15 more cases reported, tally reaches 267

15 new cases of Coronavirus were reported in Sindh, On Saturday. The provincial number of cases rose to 267.

Coronavirus in Sindh- According to the Sindh Health Department, new cases have been reported in the visitors coming from Taftan in Sukkur. The number of confirmed cases in Pakistan is now 519.

On Friday, Pakistan recorded its third death due to the Coronavirus, the first in Sindh.

The death of a 77-year-old COVID-19 patient in Sindh, bringing the three total numbers of deaths to Pakistan, confirmed Health Minister Dr. Azra Fazal Pichoho.

The patient was a cancer survivor and suffering from diabetes and hypertension when he contracted the virus. He has no travel or contact history, Said Pichoho

Earlier this week, two patients died positive for coronavirus in KP, officials said. On Friday, a Sindh-based patient had the first death from a local outbreak of the virus.

Sindh is the most affected province in the outbreak, with 238 confirmed cases of the virus. There are 96 confirmed cases in Punjab, 23 in KP, 81 in Balochistan, 7 in Islamabad and 21 in GB.

Globally, 176 countries have been infected, more than 10,000 people have died and more than 234,000 have been affected by the disease as it rapidly spreads to new areas. The epidemic has now moved to Europe, recording a rapid rise in new cases daily.
