Eid ul Fitr 2024 Weather Update: Rain Forecasted Across Pakistan

As the Eid al-Fitr holidays approach, the nation braces for a spell of intermittent rain. The Weather Bureau forecasts a wet week ahead, from April 10 to 15, with showers expected in various parts of the country.

Regions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are on alert for heavy rain and possible hailstorms. Meanwhile, the mountainous regions of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan could witness a mix of heavy rain and snowfall, adding a touch of white to the holiday festivities.

The capital city, Islamabad, along with Murree, Galyat, Attock, and Chakwal, are also set to experience intermittent rain showers during the same period.

In Punjab, cities including Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, and Sialkot are likely to receive rainfall, making for a cool and pleasant holiday period.

Moving towards the west, parts of Balochistan are expected to receive rainfall from April 12 to 14.

Lastly, residents of Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, and Jacobabad can expect to enjoy the rain on April 13 and 14, providing a respite from the usual heat.
