Fixed Sales Tax for Beauty Parlors and Wedding Halls Announced

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, under the leadership of PTI, has unveiled a new tax strategy for beauty parlors and wedding halls. This innovative approach aims to categorize these businesses based on their volume, paving the way for a more streamlined taxation process.

Mazamil Aslam, the Director General of the KP Revenue Authority (KPRA), shared that the new financial year will see the implementation of a fixed sales tax on services. This marks a significant shift from the previous percentage-based system, offering a more predictable and manageable tax structure for business owners.

The KPRA’s announcement further highlighted that owners will have the flexibility to opt between fixed and percentage rates of sales tax on services. This move is expected to provide a more tailored and business-friendly taxation environment.

This new tax plan is a testament to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s commitment to fostering a supportive and fair business landscape for all sectors, including beauty parlors and wedding halls.
