“The PPP and the Sindh government stand firmly with the victims,” Wahab stated during the announcement. This move provides a temporary marketplace for those who lost their shops, allowing them to participate in the high-volume Ramadan trade without the burden of rent.

Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah is addressing the economic crisis. Sindh Government has already begun to distribute 500,000 per shopkeeper on a list submitted by Karachi Chamber of Commerce.
The support includes:
- Immediate financial aid to families of the deceased.
- Two-three week extension of wider pay.
- Inventory and business goods loss assessments in full to be paid further.
The government is targeting to get through this financial injection in less than 21 days. This is to counter the local economy and offer a safety net to the traders who are facing inventory losses.
