Meteorological Department Forecasts More Rainfall Across Sindh
In a delightful turn of events, Karachi experienced its inaugural winter rainfall yesterday, accompanied by the dramatic display of thunder and lightning. The city, typically associated with a dry climate, was treated to a refreshing downpour that brought with it a much-needed sense of coolness.
Throughout the night, various neighborhoods witnessed intermittent bursts of rain, creating a picturesque scene complemented by the symphony of thunder and the mesmerizing flashes of lightning. The rain extended its embrace to surrounding areas, including Thatta, Hyderabad, Tando Allahyar, and Dadu, contributing to an overall drop in temperatures and a pleasant change in weather conditions.
The Meteorological Department has heightened anticipation by forecasting continued rainfall, complete with thunder and lightning, across different regions of Sindh today. The prediction includes the presence of strong winds, promising a dynamic weather experience for the residents.
Meanwhile, northern Balochistan is experiencing a chillier turn in the weather due to intense cold winds. Several areas, including Kan Mehtarzai, Tobah Achakzai, and Qilaat, have recorded temperatures plummeting to unprecedented lows, with some areas reporting sub-zero temperatures—a record-setting occurrence for this time of the year.
As Karachi revels in the beauty of winter’s first rainfall, residents are advised to stay updated on the evolving weather conditions and to enjoy the cool respite that the season has brought to the city.
