Pakistani Passport Ranking 2026: The Pakistani passport has retained its 100th position in the latest Henley Passport Index 2026, making it the fourth weakest passport in the world in terms of global travel freedom.
The Henley & Partners Passport Index for July 1, 2026–December 31, 2026 states that Pakistani citizens have limited visa-free access to 30 countries, compared to many other countries.
Meanwhile, Singapore has again been crowned the world’s most powerful passport in terms of the ease of its citizens travelling abroad with visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 192 countries.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE), Japan and South Korea are all in joint second place in the latest rankings, continuing their lead in global passport mobility, Asian nations.
The Henley Passport Index is a ranking of passports by the number of countries their owners can enter without a visa. The index is continually refreshed with exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and Henley & Partners’ research.
The new ranking of the Pakistani passport puts an emphasis on the difficulties being experienced by Pakistani travelers, as Pakistan is still in one of the least accessible lists of countries for international travel. Generally, it is believed that diplomatic relations and international mobility agreements can positively or negatively affect future passport rankings.
