Every citizen of Pakistan is entitled to machine readable passport for traveling abroad and the fee is different for all the passport categories.
Here’s a guide on how to apply for a new passport:
For First-Time Applicants (Ages 18 and Above):
1. Provide evidence of the prescribed passport fee payment, which can be done through the Original Bank Paid Fee Challan (receipt) or e-Payment Confirmation Detail (SMS/Email containing PSID No.).
2. Submit your original Valid CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) or NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis) along with a photocopy.
3. Include your previous passport in its original form, if issued. Also, provide a photocopy of the previous passport.
4. If you are a government, semi-government, or autonomous body employee, you must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the relevant department.
5. For dual-nationals, present your foreign passport along with a photocopy.
6. In the case of a lost passport, bring a Lost Passport Police report that mentions the previous passport number.
