Petrol Prices Remain Unchanged till November 15

The prices of petrol and diesel will remain unchanged until November 15, as indicated by a finance ministry notification.

Petrol will maintain its current rate at Rs 283.38, while high-speed diesel will remain unchanged at Rs 303.18.

In a positive development, the price of kerosene oil has decreased by Rs 3.82, now standing at Rs 211.3. Light diesel oil prices have also seen a reduction of Rs 3.4, now at Rs 189.46.”

Earlier, reports stated that fuel prices in Pakistan will see a significant drop of up to Rs. 18 per liter, with estimates suggesting that High-Speed Diesel may decrease by Rs. 5-6 per liter and MS Petrol by Rs. 17-18 per liter on October 31.

It was reported if international oil prices and Rupee remain stable in coming days, local petrol and diesel prices would fall to around Rs. 297-298 and Rs. 265-266 per liter, respectively, in the next fortnightly price adjustment, effective from October 31, 2023.

It’s important to mention here that the fuel prices hiked massively from August 15 to September 15. Which led to record-high petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan. The government subsequently reduced prices in two phases, providing some relief to consumers.
