Sobhraj Maternity Hospital Announces Normal Delivery Rs 500, C-Section Rs 1000

KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab inaugurated a modern post-delivery ward at Sobhraj Maternity Hospital. A large number of UC chairmen, council members, and relevant officials were also present on the occasion.

The Mayor visited various departments of the hospital and reviewed the facilities being provided to patients. He stated that the newly established post-delivery ward is equipped with modern beds, medical equipment, and a comfortable environment, while special arrangements have been made for better care of mothers and newborns.

Barrister Murtaza Wahab praised the performance of doctors and medical staff, saying that providing quality healthcare facilities to women is the top priority of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation. He added that the establishment of this new ward will help reduce patient load and further improve treatment facilities.

He further said that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation is giving special attention to upgrading city hospitals and is ensuring a safer and better environment for women and newborn babies.

The Mayor said that providing healthcare facilities to citizens at their doorstep is the main goal, and modern facilities in hospitals will bring significant relief to the public. 

He reaffirmed that more health projects will be introduced and practical steps will continue to strengthen the public healthcare system in the city.
