In a groundbreaking achievement, 11-year-old Muhammad Husnain from Karachi has stunned the tech community by creating an AI assistant robot named ‘Muhammad Ali.’ At such a young age, Husnain’s innovative creation showcases his remarkable talent and passion for technology.
From Karachi to the World: Husnain’s Journey
Hailing from Sadi Town, Karachi, Muhammad Husnain began his journey into robotics two years ago. His interest in technology was sparked when he enrolled in a basic robotics course at the Imam Hussain Institute, located in Scheme 33. Over the course of two years, Husnain honed his skills in both game development and robotics, culminating in the creation of his AI assistant, ‘Muhammad Ali.’
AI Assistant ‘Muhammad Ali’: A Technological Marvel
Muhammad Husnain’s AI assistant, ‘Muhammad Ali,’ is designed to understand and respond to human speech, functioning as a virtual assistant. The robot is connected to Husnain’s laptop, and he has meticulously programmed it to activate upon hearing its name. Once activated, the AI assistant listens to commands and executes tasks efficiently, just like a human assistant.
To demonstrate the robot’s capabilities, Husnain was asked to instruct the AI assistant on how to make tea. In just a few seconds, the robot provided a complete recipe, proving its ability to understand and follow instructions. Husnain humorously remarked that the robot is Pakistani, so it knows how much Pakistanis love their tea.
Versatile Functions of ‘Muhammad Ali’
Husnain explained that the AI assistant can perform a variety of tasks, including opening different websites, creating shopping lists for holidays, and even assisting with daily household chores. Remarkably, the robot can also switch electricity to solar power if instructed to do so.
Currently, Husnain is working on creating a 3D-printed cover for the robot’s head, which he plans to complete in a few days. This project, which Husnain has developed independently, is a testament to his ingenuity and dedication.
Inspiration for the Future
Despite his young age, Muhammad Husnain is already a source of inspiration. His talent is so recognized that even university students seek his assistance with their projects. Husnain dreams of pursuing a career in robotics and game development, and he is undoubtedly a beacon of hope for the future of technology in Pakistan.
Muhammad Husnain’s AI assistant robot is more than just a technological achievement; it represents the potential of young minds in the field of robotics. As he continues to develop his skills, Husnain is set to become a key figure in Pakistan’s tech industry, inspiring others to pursue their passions and push the boundaries of innovation.
