Pakistani Boy Builds Own Helicopter After Six Years of Hard Work

A young man from the Bajaur district has successfully constructed a working helicopter on his own after six years of effort, earning a public test demonstration approved for September 6.

Subhanullah, a young resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bajaur district, spent 6 years building a helicopter with his own personal efforts despite facing limited resources and multiple challenges.

Coming from a working-class background Subhanullah’s family earns a living by selling traditional chappals (footwear) in Punjab during trading seasons

From a young age he had a deep passion for machinery and learned to work as a motorcycle mechanic. To find the required parts and materials for the aircraft, he traveled to several cities, including Lahore, Timergara, and Peshawar.

Throughout the journey, his family strongly encouraged and supported him.

Upcoming Test Flight and Future Goals

Authorities have promised to give Subhanullah the opportunity to conduct a public demonstration of his helicopter at the Bajaur Sports Complex on September 6. If the trial run proves successful officials have promised to grant official permission for flight operations.

Subhanullah stated that with proper government support, he can build even more advanced and large-scale engineering projects in the future. Having gained this hands-on experience, he is confident that he can now construct a similar helicopter within just one week.
