PSW Integrates with Nadra PakID App for Remote Biometric Verification

Pakistan Single Window (PSW) has integrated with Nadra’s PakID Mobile App, allowing users to complete mandatory biometric verification from their smartphones without visiting a Nadra e-Sahulat Centre.

The new facility allows PSW users to complete biometric verification for new subscriptions, subscription renewals and profile updates through the PakID app. Users must meet the applicable Nadra requirements to use the remote verification service.

Previously, PSW users had to visit a Nadra e-Sahulat Centre for biometric verification. The new system removes this physical visit and allows the PSW subscription process to be completed digitally.

The facility will be useful for overseas Pakistanis involved in trade-related activities in Pakistan. Eligible overseas users can now complete their PSW biometric verification remotely through the PakID app.

Both Verification Options Available During Transition

PSW said both verification methods will remain available during an interim period. Users can either complete biometric verification through the PakID Mobile App or continue visiting Nadra e-Sahulat Centres.

PSW CEO Syed Aftab Haider said the integration responds to the needs of PSW users in Pakistan and overseas. He said remote biometric verification removes another physical step from the onboarding process.

According to PSW, the integration removes the only physical visit required during the subscription process. The move allows users to complete the process digitally through their smartphones.

PSW said the initiative is part of its wider effort to expand digital services, improve access and simplify procedures for businesses.
