Karachi Traffic Police have announced a detailed traffic plan for the Tri-Series and Champions Trophy 2025 at the National Stadium Karachi. The plan includes road closures, parking arrangements, and alternate routes for smooth traffic flow during the matches.
Match Schedule at National Stadium Karachi
The cricket matches will be held on the following dates:
- February 12 to 14, 2025
- February 19 to 21, 2025
- March 1, 2025
On match days, Sir Shah Suleman Road will remain open for regular traffic, while alternative parking and traffic routes will be enforced.
Parking Arrangements for Spectators
To ensure convenience for match attendees, Karachi Traffic Police have designated specific parking areas:
- Visitors arriving from Karsaz will park at National Coaching Centre and China Ground. They can access these parking spots via the Karsaz Flyover underpass.
- Spectators from Millennium Mall will also use the National Coaching Centre and China Ground for parking.
- People coming from New Town can park at the same designated areas.
Road Closures and Alternate Routes
To manage heavy traffic, the following roads will be closed for heavy vehicles:
- Karsaz to National Stadium
- Millennium Mall to New Town
- Stadium Signal to Hasan Square
Meanwhile, heavy traffic will be allowed on alternative routes:
- Sohrab Goth to NIPA
- Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hasan Square
- People’s Chowrangi to University Road
