Amazon and Google workers ask to terminate deal with Israel

Employees of Google and Amazon have called on their employers to end the deal with the Israeli government.

Around 300 employees of Amazon and more than 100 employees of Google have written an open letter to their employer. The letter demands for the abolition of Project with Israeli government. It is published in �The Guardian.�

Google and Amazon provide cloud services to the Israeli military and government. The deal, which both companies signed worth 2 1.2 billion.

However it is noteworthy that cloud services allow the Israeli military to collect data on Palestinians.

The employees said that data would be used for further policies that Human Rights Watch says constitute crimes of discrimination.

The agreement was signed on same week after the Israeli army attacked Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. It killed about 250 people, including more than 60 children.
