Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport experienced significant disruptions on Friday, leading to the cancellation of several domestic and international flights, throwing the travel schedule into disarray.
AirBlue passengers scheduled for flights PA-173 and PA-171 from Karachi to Jeddah faced disappointment as their flights were cancelled. Similarly, travelers booked on AirSial’s flight PF-144 destined for Lahore found their plans abruptly halted.
In addition, passengers intending to fly to Najaf on FlyBaghdad’s flight IF-333, or to Peshawar on SereneAir’s flight ER-551, were met with cancellations, adding to the frustration of those affected.
The inconvenience extended further as SereneAir’s flights ER-503 to Islamabad and ER-523 to Lahore were also cancelled, compounding the challenges for passengers relying on these services.
The sudden cancellations left travelers stranded and seeking alternatives, with the airport’s authorities working to address the situation swiftly.
